There are many unique employment challenges for those with Aspergers. The article in ComputerWorld addresses several issues, such as working in groups, interacting with others in meetings and challenges of communication with peers and bosses.

Making the Transition to Adulthood book image For extensive tips and help on employment, relationships and other critical issues for adults, see my book Thriving in Adulthood with Asperger's Syndrome.

In this book I address many employment problem areas and what steps you need to take to resolve issues including the interview, sensory overload in a busy office, and workplace accommodation. And I will show you the best ... and worst careers for someone with Aspergers.

The guide book will tell you about the ways to successfully transition from school to the workplace. How to deal with isolation, loneliness and depression; the challenges of dating and relationships, and workplace politics.
